ATO 1 HP Single Phase to 3 Phase VFD

ATO 1 hp VFD has useful function of single phase to three phase convertion. For many applications up to 0.75 kW, a suitable 1 hp VFD can be purchased for far less than the cost of rewinding a three-phase motor and providing the necessary controls to operate it. A three-phase motor and single phase to 3 phase VFD on the lathe and use just the one pulley combination along with the VFD speed control for 99% of the turning operations. It is not necessary to connect the single phase VFD to the computer or CNC motion electronics. The VFD can be controlled independently using the control panel on the VFD. The control panel has the ability to control all aspects of the spindle including Speed, Torque, limits, etc. However, you can connect the VFD to the computer so the CNC control program can control the spindle during the CNC Machine operation. You will need to connect the VFD to the computer via a serial conection (in this case, it is the RS-485 protocol).
