We aim to give care as if you are a member of our own family, by treating you with dignity and respect, offering choices and including you in all aspects of your care package.All our care assistants have to supply references and are fully vetted by the criminal records bureau.
All our care assistants conform to the legal requirements for organisations who work with vulnerable adults.
Before taking on any new staff we ensure that all our care assistants have the relevant induction into the company.
They also undergo all the relevant professional training, within the training the staff members must complete the skills for care induction programme. Gentle Folk Community Care supplies this to all our employees.
We also encourage our care assistants to further their education with an NVQ if they haven’t already done so.
